Fun Day

Hi there. I'm getting ready for bed and watching the 1987 movie Baby Boom. I love this movie. I have the laptop here in front of me so I thought I'd tell you all about our day when the commercials come on. We have been wanting to go bowling all week so we decided after school today that we'd go ahead and do it. Alex wanted to invite his friend Parker and it turned out that he was able to go and they had so much fun. So much that I don't think they wanted to leave but unfortuntely we had to wrap it up because we had dinner plans afterwards with Brent, Suzie, and Cole at Texas Roadhouse. That's where we always go with them. We haven't seen them in awhile and it was nice to catch up.
Back to bowling. We played 2 games and ate nachos and cheese sticks. Parker had the highest score for the first game and I had it for the second. Out of 10 frames I got 7 spares. I've never done that good before. Around the middle of the last game the boys were running around and pretty much done with the bowling. They just wanted to play. Ryan bowled the last couple of frames for them. It so funny watching the kids bowl. I just get a kick out of it. We all had fun.
Alex was upset that he couldn't play longer with Parker (they get along so well) and so he really didn't want to go eat but after dinner he said it was cool to see Cole again. I think because Cole's alittle older now which kind of puts them on the same page. Does that make any sense???
