Alex wanted me to post this pic on here to show his cup of hail balls. That's what he calls it. That just sounds funny. Well, anyway we got caught up in the storm for a couple of minutes today. A very scary couple of minutes I might add. Ryan had to leave for work alittle before the storm came and when he got to Chaffee and went to get his bag out of the trunk, it wasn't there. It was in the Element. Yes, here with us all the way back in Jackson. The first thing he said as I answered the phone is "you're going to hate me." I hate when he says stuff like that. I immediately start to panic because I fear he's going to say the worst thing that could happen like having a wreck or something. So I packed up the kids and we headed out. The trip to Chaffee wasn't bad at all. It was the driving back that was not good. As soon as we got outside of that horrible little town is when it got bad. I mean I thought a tornado was going to swoop us up I was so scared. And poor Alex is freaking out and Cam is just obliviously jabbering up a storm. When I think about it it's funny but it wasn't then. I could not see at all and there was no where to pull over. The wind was so strong I could not keep the car on my side of the road. And then the hail started. In my head I was saying, OMG, we're going to die. If you know me at all you know I'm a drama queen and I always say that. It finally calmed down after a few but it was still so windy and that top heavy Element is not fun to drive in those conditions. I prayed several times to get us home safely and I was so thankful when we hit Jackson. That's when Alex spotted all the hail on the side of the roads so when we got home he headed outside with some cups to scoop him up some. He wanted to let some melt and put the others in the freezer. He said he going to come up with some experiment for the hail in the freezer.
