Alex is fine!

Hi. I'm just checking in. I haven't posted for a couple of days due to an ongoing headache that's been plaguing me. It's not the best time of the month for me if you know what I mean. Alex is doing fine and his sickness only lasted 1 day so when we went to the dr on Wed. he was fine. Anyway, he had to have blood drawn (he did so good) and x-rays of his tummy. They also did a urine test. His blood work and urine tests came back fine. Nothing wrong there and the x-rays by the docs view were fine too. The dr we saw because his regular one was out I think I like better. The regular doc is a woman and sometimes she looks at me like I'm an idiot. The guy we saw the other day is much cooler. I can't believe how well Alex did when they stuck that needle in his arm, he didn't even flinch. He wanted to watch and I told him to look, to concentrate on something else. He didn't and didn't want to hold my hand either. What a big boy. I explained to him on the way that day about blood work and you know what he responded with? "I'm tough mommy." That was adorable. I just smiled and said, "okay then." It was a very crazy appt due to the fact Cam had to come along with us because Daddy was supposed to go to work about that time. Of course, he didn't have to until later that night. Cam as always was the crazy part. He hates to sit still and just wants to wonder around so I had ahold of him squirming and screaming, our coats, huge x-rays, and my purse. We had to go to like 3 different places for the tests and then back to the doctors office which was all in the same building but still stressful. It was good practice for future situations when Ryan's not there to help. I can get stressed real easy. Although I think I did pretty good Wed. Just at the end I was like, okay are we done yet? So what's wrong with Alex??? The dr told me that some kids are just prone to these gastro something or other viral things. I'm hoping he'll grow out of this soon. I hate seeing him suffer.
