Church

Yep, that's right. We went to church! It was kind of a last minute decision and Ryan fought me tooth and nail but I (and God) won! I knew I was really fighting the devil and I wasn't about to give up. I do have to admit several times today I tried to talk myself out of it also. I had a huge headache and I really wanted to take a nap but I was just somehow determined to go! I have been really wanting to go for sometime now, I just kept coming up with stupid reasons not to. I've probably been to church only a handful of times in several years. This evening was the first time we have been to this particular church. So, what did we think about it, you ask. Well, we were alittle late because we weren't too sure where we were going when we got into the church but soon figured it out. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. We took the kids to their places and when we walked into the service I was very surprised. Why? Because they were singing one of my favorite songs! O Glorious One! That right there had me on the verge of tears! The rest was pretty good too. I'm so glad we went. Ryan on the other hand is so hard to impress. He just said it was okay. I think the fact that he was really tired got in the way. At the end I was getting really close to closing my eyes also. Ryan and I had went to see a movie right before church and I think that was a big reason we were both so tired. I think for some reason going to the theatre makes you tired. I don't know. Anyway, we saw Forgetting Sarah Marshall. It was good, pretty funny but kinda raunchy. A lot of the F word also and several shots of male full frontal nudity. We were able to go today before my mom left to go back home. She came over Friday to stay the night so I could go out to dinner and a movie with the girls from my small group because Ryan was working. He actually got home right after I did Friday night. Well, I think I'm done posting now because I'm tired. See you guys later.
