Grilling out....

Is lost on me! I just don't get it! Please someone tell me what is so great about it! We grilled out tonight and as I was washing dishes afterwards I was pondering on the subject. I've always felt that way and most people who know me know I feel this way. Of course I don't ever do it Ryan does, I just get the mess part of it. I hate cleaning the grill plate, you know, the thing the food goes on. Ryan is always the one who wants to. He has wanted for a couple of days some steak fajitas and he hates cooking steak any other way. I know a lot of people associate grilling with family and friends and such but for me I'd rather order a pizza or have sandwiches and chips/dip with a veggie and fruit tray. I guess steaks are ok to grill out but I'm not a fan of hamburgers unless they're from McDonald's. Hot dogs are ok too but not my favorite thing to eat at all. Yes, I'm probably the only person who is this way and I promise it's not just my need to be different. And you'd think me being a country girl I'd get the grilling deal but nope. Maybe it's got something to do with my not being an outdoorsy person which is weird because as a kid I loved being outside. I was the biggest tomboy you've ever seen but that changed somewhere along the way. So that's what I'm thinking about tonight. Have a good one. Bye.
