IT'S SCHOOL TIME AGAIN!!!

No pics this time around because it's late and I'm tired. I really need to get in bed but I wanted to do a quick post first. I've just now finished getting everything ready for Alex's first day of, oh my gosh, 2nd grade. Wow, I remember when I was in 2nd grade. He is growing up too fast but it's cool. That's the way of the world, right?

He had his open house Thursday. That's where we go to the school and locate his new classroom, meet his teach, see who his classmates are, and all that good stuff. I think, I hope he got another good teacher this year. She seems really nice and I've heard good stuff about her. And there are actually several kids in his class this year that he knows. Thank goodness. He's excited but sad. Sad to see summer go bye bye. What can I say, he's a typical kid.

My mom and step dad came over to visit today. We all took the boys to eat and play at McDonald's. They had a blast. Then we went to buy some new shoes for school and afterwards went to the park to play for a while. After the grandparents left it was time to get ready for tomorrow. Ryan cut Alex's hair, supper was fixed and enjoyed, baths were had, teeth were brushed, Alex's backpack was filled with his school supplies and then the much dreaded bedtime. Not too bad. Of course Alex is no problem, never has been. Cam on the other hand, is crazy! We love him anyway. OF COURSE! God bless his little heart. He's so good when he wants to be. It's just not very often. :)
